Sleeper runs your sleep routine on your phone. It does not collect your data, there is no account to create, and no server of ours receives anything from the app.
Nothing.
We do not operate a server that receives your information. There is no Bract Studio account, no cloud sync, and no database anywhere holding your data.
Sleeper keeps a small amount of information so the app works between sessions. All of it is written to the app's own private storage on your phone, and none of it is transmitted.
| What | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Your timers and schedules | To run the sleep routine you set up | Device only |
| Your sleep log | To show your sleep patterns over time | Device only |
| Sound and app preferences | To remember how you set the app up | Device only |
Uninstalling Sleeper deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else and no way to restore it, so export anything you want to keep before you uninstall.
Android does not let an ordinary app turn your screen off. Sleeper uses Android's Device Administrator API, and only ever calls the single “lock now” action when your timer expires.
Sleeper does not use the Accessibility Service, which is the other way an app can lock a screen. It cannot read your screen, your text fields or anything you type.
Device Administrator is off until you switch it on, and you can revoke it at any time in Settings → Security → Device admin apps. Android requires you to revoke it before the app can be uninstalled.
Sleeper declares Android's internet permission, so we should say plainly what it is for. It is used to open links you tap yourself — the studio website and this privacy policy — and by Google Play for app updates. The calming sounds are bundled inside the app and play from your device; they are not streamed.
The app does not contact any Bract Studio server, because there isn't one. Nothing about how you use Sleeper is reported to us.
Sleeper is not directed at children, and collects no data from anyone — including children under 13, or the equivalent age in your country. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to delete on request.
We share nothing, because we hold nothing. We have never sold user data and have no mechanism to do so.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. Bract Studio holds no personal data about Sleeper users, so there is nothing for us to return or erase.
Everything Sleeper touches lives on your own device and is under your control: revoke any permission in Android Settings, or uninstall the app to remove it all at once.
Sleeper complies with Google Play's Limited Use requirements. Data the app accesses on your device is used solely to provide features that are visible to you in the app, is processed locally on the device, is never transferred to any server, and is never used for advertising, profiling or credit assessment. It is never sold.
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above changes with it. We recommend reviewing this page from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted here.
